The Old Rectory Kindergarten Manor House 0-2 Room
Our 0-2 room is a welcoming bright room with a homely feel and with plenty of space for young ones to explore. The room has a staff to child ratio of 1 to 3 offering a secure environment where young children can grow and develop.
The room is divided into two sections with a quieter area for the younger babies where they can rest and have one to one time and an activity area for the older babies where they can interact and join in with activities such as sand, water, painting and 'messy play' to name but a few. The baby room has its own kitchen just off the room allowing staff to meet each individual childs requirements for feeding.
The bathroom and changing area can also be directly accessed from the room which is very helpful for the older babies during potty training. Other areas frequently used by the babies are the 'sensory room' where our babies can relax. Each child in the 0-2 room has their own key worker that is responsible for daily diaries, the practitioners in this room work closely with parents to develop a strong relationship ensuring the child's individual requirements are respected.
