July 2013 Bugs ball and summer time

It's party time at The Old Rectory.

We wish all of the children leaving us this term lots of luck at their new big schools, the preschool children had a lovely send off at our annual bugs ball on Thursday 18th July.

We are very proud of all of our staff who have made each child's transition to school smooth for them and their parents.

The children enjoyed a variety of activities at the bugs ball including songs with the music man and face paintings from spider man to butterflies to an array of insects.

An Al Fresco buffet was served to help refuel our 'little buzzing bees' and later in the afternoon they enjoyed delicious homemade cake made by our in house chef Ash.

Summer time

Due to the extremely hot weather conditions we are currently experiencing i would like to remind all parents to supply suncreams, hats and appropriate clothing for your child.
We will be spending lots of time outdoors and to avoid mix ups and allergies please help us by supplying the above.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Kate and Becky Green who graduated on the 11th July after studying for three years to achieve a foundation degree in early childhood studies.
Well done to both girls! we will continue to support all of our staff through their vocational studies.

Polite reminder

May i remind parents that during holidays, Bank holidays and sick days all fees are still to be paid in full as your child's place is kept open. This is stated in the nursery contract within the application form.
